You know, if it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all. Here's how things stand now.

Last week I started feeling a little bad, thought I might be coming down with something, but nothing more than a little cough and headache was all. Within a few days, suddenly I'm full blown sick, dizzy spells, aching all over, headaches, and coughing up stuff that shouldn't be mentioned. Missed a few days of work, couldn't draw since I couldn't stop coughing, my body from shaking, and the extreme pain in my left shoulder. I draw left handed so that pain kept me from moving my arm any. Oh, and while being sick, ended up suffering from severe allergies, so I was sneezing all the time too. Well I managed to survive that, got back to work finally and what happens?

I get into a car wreck.

Oh yea, two days after finally getting better after being sick, I'm in an accident. Lady ran a red light and smacked into me, spun me all the way around and tore my back bumper off.. I wasn't badly hurt, but I did have a really sharp pain in my neck and left shoulder. It's not bad, but does keep me from doing a whole lot for the time being. After the ambulance shows up, I'm carted off to the hospital. Here's where things really get to me. The ambulance took me off before the cops showed up at the scene. The cop taking the report only takes her statement. Not mine, not anyone elses, just hers, and to add insult to injury on her part, she tells the cop that I ran the red light. So when the cop shows up at the hospital, it's not to take my statement, it's to hand me a ticket. What the hell is wrong with this picture? He tells me he's only there to file the report and give me the ticket. Getting no info from me, just taking her word for the truth and thus making things 100 times more difficult for me. So now I have to get a lawyer and go to court to get everything straightened out.

I try to be level headed about things that happen in my life, and even nice when someone does something stupid that causes me problems, but that bitch flat out LIED to the police. There is no nice guy after this. It is officially on now.

The kid gloves are off, it's payback time.

As an additional note, I've been thinking of scaling back the updates to 1 or 2 times a week. I know I can do a better job than I have been with drawing, but because of things like work, I've had to rush the pages, and I want to be able to put up something better for people to read. So once my arm is more mobile, I'll be back to drawing and will hopefully have a better quality comic for your viewing pleasure.

This is a test of the emergency broadcast system. If this were a real emergency, you would be instructed to panic and scream like a little girl.

Man what a week...When it rains it pours, indeed.  Good luck with getting everything back into order, let us know how it goes.
